He added: We appreciate the statements of US President Donald Trump regarding his opposition to the annexation of the West Bank and we believe that these statements are constructive and in favor of the ceasefire agreement.

The spokesman of the Hamas movement continued: We are eager for the national consensus of the Palestinians to solve all the remaining issues related to the form of government in Gaza after the war.

He added: We ask Israel to fulfill its obligations and cancel the aggression and blockade and allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.

US President Donald Trump said in a conversation with Time magazine that if Israel annexes the West Bank (to the occupied territories), it will lose all American support.
