“Hamas’s response to a ceasefire plan in Gaza is a constructive and important step towards achieving sustainable peace,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

Erdogan emphasized: What is now done is that Israel immediately stops all its attacks and commit to the ceasefire plan.

The Turkish president added: “Without delay, all measures to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza and to realize permanent peace should be taken.”

Hours ago, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced that Hamas’s response to President Trump’s plan would accelerate the establishment of urgent ceasefire in Gaza, guarantee humanitarian aid and achieve sustainable peace.

Israel should immediately stop its attacks on Gaza residents, and we urge the parties to start negotiations without delay that will lead to a ceasefire consolidation, the ministry added.
