Hamas’s response to Trump’s plan from the language of the group’s senior officials – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
According to RCO News Agency, Musa Abu Razzouk, one of the senior leaders of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement, told Qatar’s Al Jazeera Network to explain the movement’s position on the proposal to end the Gaza war and explain Hamas’s priorities in the talks.
Priority is to stop ‘killing’
“The priority is for us to stop war and killing, and from this angle we dealt with a positive outlook,” said Musa Abu Razogh.
He added: “Tips in the Trump plan directly related to the Hamas movement have been examined by us with a positive approach.”
“The implementation of the provisions of the plan requires details and understanding, and the project cannot be implemented without negotiation,” Abuarzuq said.
“We will negotiate on all issues related to the movement and weapons,” he said.
2 -hour rejection of prisoners’ exchange
Reading part of the proposal, Abu Razogh said: “The issue of prisoners and bodies within four hours is theoretical and unrealistic.
“The United States should look at the future of the Palestinian people,” he said.
National agreement for Gaza’s administration
The Hamas official also stated about the future of Gaza’s sovereignty: We have reached an agreement at the Gaza Strip to independent people (technocrats) and the authority of this department will be the Palestinian Authority.
“Drawing the future of the Palestinian nation is a national issue that Hamas alone does not decide on,” Abu Razuk added.
“We have agreed to the regional and international plan provided by Egypt, which includes responses to peace and future,” he said.
Rejection of the definition of “terrorism” for Hamas
Regarding the provisions of Trump’s proposal, Abu Razogh emphasized: Hamas is a national liberation movement and the definition of “terrorism” in this plan cannot be applied to this movement.
“We have agreed to the main titles of the plan, but its implementation requires negotiation,” he said.
The future of resistance weapons
“We will deliver the weapon to the Palestinian government, and the one who will rule in Gaza will have weapons,” the Hamas official said.
Osama Hamdan, other senior Hamas official
In an interview with Al -Arabi Network, Hamdan said the Hamas movement was ready to immediately enter into talks about the prisoners’ exchange operations.
He emphasized that Hamas does not accept under any circumstances that no party outside of Palestine takes the administration of the Gaza Strip.
The Hamas official also noted that in the future negotiations, the situation and realities of Israeli prisoners (both living and bodies) must be taken into account.
Hamdan added that the process of prisoners’ exchange takes more than 4 hours, and this can only be resolved by reaching an understanding between the parties.
He finally emphasized that the entry of any external management or force into Gaza is by no means acceptable.
