Russia Elium, quoting (Change.org), a global online platform for petition and social activity, reported that so far, 6,000 people have signed the official petition to deprive members of their salaries during the federal “closure”.

The petition is aimed at putting pressure on delegates and senators to end the budget stalemate and reopening government agencies.
