In a statement, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement condemned the brutal attack of the Zionist regime on the World Fleet of Samud (stability) moving towards the Gaza Strip, calling it piracy and violating international and humanitarian conventions.

The statement emphasized that the Israeli occupiers are responsible for the safety of all participants, including international activists, journalists and activists, and that any damage to them is a crime that will not be lost over time.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad, pointing out that Israel’s invasion of the World Fleet and the violation of international law by the regime only occurs with the political and military support of the Trump administration, and the silence of European states and governments is a kind of complicity with Israel and is contrary to their claims in defending human values.

The movement called for immediate and independent investigations by the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to protect the activists present in the Samud fleet.

The Islamic Jihad continued its statement calling for Europe’s explicit stance to stop cooperation with the Zionist regime and to try to account for Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes.

The movement also urged all countries around the world to support the efforts of freedom -seeking activists and strive to end the unfair siege of Gaza.

The World Fleet of Samud confirmed moments ago that some of its ships were seized by Israeli forces.

On the other hand, the Zionist troops threatened to arrest the activists stationed in the Samud fleet through the speaker, who said in response to the threat: “We are carrying milk and medicine for a humanitarian mission and you are committing war crimes.”

Some news sources also reported that Israeli forces arrested members on two Alma and Cyrus ships.

Reuters news agency said the Zionist navy has ordered a redirection to the port of Ashdod to the Samud fleet.
