According to the Al Jazeera news agency, the US base said Qatar, Egypt and Turkey have called on the Hamas movement to respond positively to US President Donald Trump’s plan to launch a ceasefire in Gaza.

According to the media, US officials and the Israeli regime expect Hamas to generally respond positively to the proposal, though the movement is likely to put some of its reasons.

On the other hand, Al -Jazeera’s network quoted an informed source as saying that officials from Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye held a meeting with the Hamas negotiating board to investigate the details of the Trump plan.

The source, named after the meeting, added: “During the meeting, the Hamas delegation insisted that it will investigate the US proposal with” high responsibility “and will provide a formal response as soon as possible.

The meeting is also part of the specialized talks to reach Hamas’s final stance on Trump’s plan.
