In his speech at the 80th annual UN General Assembly, Michael Martin said, “I do not know how Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is sleeping at night,” said Mehr News Agency.

Martin also called for a revision of the approach of countries that continue to send weapons to the Zionist regime to provide the regime with the necessary tools to continue the war in Gaza.

He added: “I urge these officials to carefully reflect on the consequences of their actions for the Palestinian people because no one will be immune from the consequences of their actions.”

“We are seeing hunger as a tool for war, and infants die of hunger, while helping to prevent them from entering the borders of Gaza,” the prime minister of Ireland, referring to the deliberate targeting and destruction of schools, hospitals, mosques and cultural institutions in Gaza.

Martin also urged all UN members to reflect on any action they could stop the war in Gaza, stressing: “I especially urge those who have influence to use this influence in Gaza immediately and with their maximum power.”
