International leaders are scheduled to discuss world challenges, including peace, sustainable development, human rights protection, gender equality, artificial intelligence management, combating infectious diseases and mental disorders, as well as the effects of climate change.

The one -week event will be held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, and its main theme “together is better: 5 years and beyond for peace, development and human rights.”

Representatives of the UN member states, observers from the Vatican and the Palestinian government, as well as the European Union, will participate in future debates.

Speeches will be delivered by the heads of states, governments and international delegations. High-level meetings, along with hundreds of bilateral meetings and subject events on the sidelines of the Assembly, will be held from September 1 to September 1 (1 to 7th of October)- with a program planned on Sunday.

Opening

The public debate will begin with the speech of the UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres and the President of the 80th General Assembly of the International Institution.

Brazilian President Louise Inacio will speak as the first to the world’s leaders, which is due to a respect for a long -standing tradition. Russian participation

The Russian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will be present at this year’s assembly, which is scheduled to address September 9. Lavrov will also participate in multilateral matches in the Brix, CSTO, Group Twenty and Group of Defenders of the United Nations Charter.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova had earlier told Dice that, as usual, dozens of bilateral and multilateral meetings with Lavrov are planning to meet the American side.
