French President Emmanuel Macron officially announced at a two -state conference that his country has recognized the formation of an independent Palestinian state.

He said: “We came together today because it is time for the four captives to be released and stop the war in the Gaza Strip.”

“We can no longer wait for the Palestinian state,” Macron added.

He said the promise of a Arab country in Palestine has not yet come true.

“We accept our collective responsibility for creating a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East,” Macron added.
