The US State Department has officially announced that it has promoted the nature of its sanctions policies against the Islamic Resistance Movement (SDGT), which includes financial and economic prosecutions (FTOs) with security and criminal consequences, according to the Mehr News Agency.

According to this review, the US government formally defines Elnja as a foreign organization that is an important threat to the US and its allies in the field of security and national interests.

Other angles of this new sanctions system are criminalization and prosecution of individuals or organizations that help al -Najba and some other Iraqi resistance groups in any way.

The above sanctions structure is the most severe diplomatic tool of the US government in the face of organizations that consider them a “serious threat to global security”.

According to the report, Washington has sent a message to Al -Najja that it will now be considered as an independent (not proxy) US national security threatening organization, and its members, supporters and allies will not be immune from punishment for cooperation with resistance.
