Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro announced that popular forces across the country have been deployed to deal with any threats by US invaders.

“We have provided the weapons of the republic to the armed forces, the people and the Bolivar militias,” Maduro emphasized at the Venezuelan Farmers’ Union conference.

Maduro’s remarks come after US President Donald Trump warned Venezuela on Saturday in a message on his social network called Truth Social.
