Omar Mokhtar is one of the ships of the Samud fleet that will move from the Libyan capital Tripoli to break the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, according to Mehr News Agency.

In a dedicated conversation with Sputnik, the ship’s official spokesman Nabil al -Swakani explained that the ship’s ship was ready to move, but atmospheric conditions prevented it from joining the endurance fleet at the due time.

Al -Swakani added that meteorological forecasts show that the weather will improve from next Monday and pave the way for the ship to move on Tuesday if there are no other obstacles.

Emphasizing that the life of Mukhtar carries many public figures from inside and outside Libya, he expressed hope that the ship could share the siege imposed on Gaza.
