The Hamas movement said in a recent statement that it still adheres to an agreement with Palestinian groups on the mediating plan for the ceasefire last August.

Hamas also emphasized that the movement welcomed and prepared any practical idea or initiative that leads to the establishment of a sustainable ceasefire and a complete retreat of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip.

Referring to the importance of the human and political dimensions of the Gaza crisis, the movement pointed out that the unconditional entry of humanitarian aid and the acquisition of a true exchange of captives through serious negotiations with mediation mediation would be an integral part of any future agreement.
