According to the Mehr News Agency, the Iraqi news agency quoted the Iraqi National Security Adviser as saying: “There is no security agreement between Iraq and Iran, and only one security understanding has been signed between the two countries.”
The memorandum of understanding with Iran is about border security and security cooperation, the agency said.
