Iraqi Transport Minister Rasagh Mahibus al -Sadawi said: “Our field visits with advanced teams of the Ministry of Transport within the city of Karbala are ongoing to pursue the implementation of the ministry’s service plan for the Arbaeen ceremony.”
He added: “The axis that the Ministry of Transport was responsible for is the large axes at the head of the Karbala-Baghdad axis, and the Ministry of Transport began its plan on the first day of Zero by moving pilgrims from the borders to Karbala.”
Referring to the other departments of the ministry after six consecutive days, he emphasized: Al -Masfin and Al -Wafood Company with two buses and railways with 4 trains participated in the project, as well as Iraqi airlines and public ports, land transport and maritime transportation.
“All parts of the ministry have also contributed to the supply of ice, cold water and other services to Imam Hussein (AS) pilgrims, and our presence in Karbala is continuing to return pilgrims, especially that the ceremony will peak in the next two days,” the Iraqi Transport Minister said.
He emphasized: The Ministry of Transport is in full readiness and we will not leave Karbala until the last pilgrim returned.
