Expansion of a terrible fire in the American Colorado; State Prison Discharged – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

A state prison was evacuated after the expansion of one of the largest forest fires in Colorado, USA, according to the Independent.

Officials have warned citizens living in remote areas of the state to provide themselves for immediate evacuation.

The fire, known as the Li Fire, has so far burned more than 2 square kilometers of forest lands from Gafield to Roblanko and residents of mountainous societies have been forced to evacuate. According to officials, only 5 % of the fire was contained.

Severe winds and low humidity have accelerated the spread of fire. However, no reports have been reported on the victims or possible damages so far.

The Coldo Prison Affairs Organization said that all four prisoners of the state’s Rifle prison were evacuated without problems. This is the sixth largest fire in the history of Colorado.
