Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir al -Shamari visited the shrine around the shrine of Imam Hussein and Prophet Abolfazl (PBUH) to strengthen intelligence efforts, complete vigilance and special care for the success of Imam Hussein.

The Iraqi Interior Ministry said in a statement: Interior Minister Abdul Amir al -Shamari and the chairman of the Supreme Security Committee held a field visit near the shrines of Imam Hussein and Prophet Abul Fadl (PBUH).

During the visit, the head of the service committee, the Karbala Operations Commander and the provincial police commander also accompanied him to inform Arbaeen’s pilgrims, how to inspect and facilitate the access of mourners to the holy shrines.

According to the statement, the Iraqi Interior Minister held a meeting with the managers of various security agencies.

At the meeting, he emphasized the need for careful and professional inspections, providing the best services to pilgrims, and serving them as a great honor and a sacred duty.

Al -Shamari also emphasized the full meeting of the security forces responsible for the mission and called for the strengthening of intelligence efforts, increased consciousness and efforts to succeed the ceremony due to the increase in the population of the pilgrims and entering the peak stage.
