A EU official told Reuters on Thursday that the human situation in the Gaza Strip is still very serious, according to Mehr News Agency.

The lack of a safe operational environment weakens humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip and prevented the aid from being delivered, the EU official said.

He explained that there have been positive developments in relation to last month’s EU agreement with Israel on humanitarian aid to Gaza. These include fuel supply, reopening some crossings, increasing the number of trucks entering the Gaza Strip daily, and repairing some vital infrastructure.

Since October 1, the Gaza Strip has been exposed to the aggression of the Zionist regime and the subsequent siege, subsequently targeting a systematic hunger policy of more than two million Palestinians.
