The World Food Program announced that half a million people in Gaza are on the verge of famine, according to Mehr News Agency.

The international body also warned that more than 6,000 children in the Gaza Strip are at risk of severe malnutrition.

The World Food Program emphasized that at least one -third of Gaza residents spend days without eating any food.
