Hamas’s crushing reaction to Witcaf’s claim about his disarmament – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

Hamas responded to Trump’s Special Envoy Disconnection, saying that he would not give up his weapon until the Palestinian independent state was formed, according to Mehr News Agency.

The Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement issued a press statement: “In response to some media reports quoting US envoy Steve Witakaf, that the movement has expressed its willingness to disarm, we reiterate that its resistance and weapon are a national and legal right until the occupation continues.”

Hamas noted that this right was recognized by international conventions and treaties and cannot be ignored until the fullest extent of all our national rights, the most important of which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty to the capital of Quds.
