US envoy to Lebanon, Tom Brock in Lebanon, expressed frustration with the developments after meeting with the Lebanese president! What does this disappointment mean?

On the third trip of Tom Brock to Lebanon, he expressed his disappointment because he thought he had to receive a different response from Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun. This expression of despair can be interpreted as more pressure on Lebanon, which will exacerbate pressure if it does not respond better. Intensifying pressure in this area means freeing the hands of the Zionist regime in Lebanon. This release of Israel’s hand could also ignore the continuous killing and flight of Zionist drones in the Lebanese sky and the expansion of assassinations to Tripoli and the north of Baqaa.

Brock shrugged by any desire to pressure the occupation regime to stop his aggression in Lebanon, claiming that it was not on his agenda, and also withdrew from the American project to resolve a alleged settlement in the Lebanese case. Do you see this US retreat as a hidden threat to the Lebanese government? What is the next step after the defeat of the US envoy to advance this plan?

When did the consecutive US governments pushing the Zionist regime? The Biden Government gave all the necessary weapons and demolition tools to Tel Aviv. What remains for the US government to deny Tel Aviv?

The West generally does not pressure the Zionists, the US government will not and will not put any pressure on Israel. What happens in Gaza is the reason for this claim. Hamas has offered some initiatives that the Zionists have rejected. The US government always considers Tel Aviv to be “right” and does not say that Hamas is right. The US always claims: “Israel needs to defend itself.” The same scenario is still in the White House, it can never be imagined that the US government would one day put pressure on the Zionist regime.

What is the nature of American suggestions to Lebanon regarding the US plan and trying to play an intermediary role in the shadow of the growing and continuous Israeli aggression? And why have the Lebanese government resistance and pillars responded to it?

Resistance in Lebanon rejected the US initiative, especially in its final version. They want to go beyond Resolution 2 on the Zionist regime’s obligations, while Israel is not required, but has sought to deliver Hezbollah weapons throughout Lebanon. Can no wise person accept this scenario? What does the resistance say when the United States fails to play a neutral role and becomes a full partner of the rape of the Zionist regime? What do Lebanese officials say? It is natural for Hezbollah to adhere to its weapon.

Given the position of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, what is your evaluation of Lebanon’s internal situation at this stage? Can US envoys still stimulate a team of Lebanese against resistance?

Of course, there is a serious risk to Lebanon’s internal situation in terms of gaps in its internal context, which is what the United States is doing in all Arab countries. It is enough to see what happened in Syria and Iraq, as well as in Libya, Yemen, Somalia and other countries from Afghanistan to North Africa. The main danger is the Lebanese dispute over American promises. We want to believe in American promises, and the best response to all US pressure and Israeli aggression is national unity. From this point of view, we believe that the best answer is Lebanon’s national unity and its officials and people. The media should not be drowned in the swamp of American promises, and should pay attention to what the American governments have done in Lebanon’s public opinion and the Arab world for decades, especially after the end of the Soviet Union.

The main responsibility of Lebanon is in unity. This unity is stronger than the weapon that the Lebanese army or Lebanese resistance can have. If this unity is realized, we can take the strategic and tactical steps to counter Israel’s aggression.
