US President Donald Trump, signing an executive decree, announced the re -imposed tariffs on more than 5 countries and the region, which varies from 5 % to 5 %, according to Mehr News Agency.
Trump also increased tariffs on certain goods imported from Canada from 2 % to 5 % in a separate decree. The White House has accused Ottawa of “failing to cooperate to contain floods of Fentanil and other drugs.”
In a statement entitled “Recovery Rate Tariffs”, Washington has published a list of about 5 business partners that have been reformed.
Exports of some major US business partners to the country, such as Australia and the United Kingdom, are subject to a 5 % basic tariff.
According to the published executive order, the tariffs will be implemented on August 7th. Iraq (1), Serbia (1), Switzerland (1), Laos (1), Myanmar (1) and Syria (2 %) will face the highest tariff rate.
In addition to the tariff countries listed in the White House list, the Falkland Islands as well as Taiwan Island are also at a 5 % and 5 % tariff, respectively.
