Syrian media reported a terrifying explosion near the city of Maare Mosrin in northern Idlib with dozens of dead and injuries, Mehr News Agency quoted Al Jazeera as saying.
The Syrian regime’s civil defense organization announced the death toll of five, but al -Arabi television reported the number of deaths to nine.
The head of the Idlib City Health Center also said that at least four people, including several women and children, were injured in the blast.
While sources affiliated with the Julani regime have reported the cause of the blast unclear, some media reported that the incident was the cause of the weapons warehouse.
