Zionist energy minister Eli Cohen said Gaza should remain destroyed for decades, and Tel Aviv has no intention of helping to rebuild the Gaza Strip infrastructure after the end of the devastating war.

Cohen said in an interview with the Zionist Channel that the regime had two goals in Gaza: the first to return to the captives of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and to force Hamas to obey.

The Zionist channel said on its website that Cohen’s remarks in response to Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington and his meeting with US President Donald Trump, who described the trip as “historical”.

Netanyahu returned to Tel Aviv on Friday after a five -day and third trip to the United States.

On the trip, in addition to senior US officials, he met Trump at the White House twice.

The ceasefire was expected to be announced in Gaza during the trip, but that didn’t happen. However, the Qatar capital Doha these days is witnessing a new round of indirect talks between the Hamas delegations and the Zionist regime with the mediation of Qatar and Egypt, with the aim of achieving a cease -fire agreement and the exchange of captives.
