Accordingly, Macron “We, more than ever, are calling for an urgent agreement and a permanent halt to war and the establishment of a ceasefire, the release of captives and unnecessary access to humanitarian aid in Gaza,” the meeting said.

The French president also appreciated the efforts of international mediators to realize the ceasefire and called for a quick conclusion on the current proposal.

Macron He added: “In the short term, given the unmatched humanitarian situation, it is Israel’s responsibility to allow the civilian population to access humanitarian aid.”

Anwar Ibrahim also emphasized the joint position of the two countries to stop the war in Gaza and support the ceasefire.
