The German intelligence chief claims about Russian plans against NATO

In an interview with Table Media, Bruno Call, the head of the German Foreign Intelligence Agency, said Russia wants to test the NATO coalition’s determination, including opposing the West across the Ukrainian borders.

According to Reuters, the head of the German Federal Intelligence Service said the organization has obtained intelligence signs that Russian officials believe that the principle of mass defense set up in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) treaty is no longer powerful.

“We are relatively confident and we have information showing that Ukraine is just one step to travel to the west,” Bruno Cal said. It does not mean that we expect the tanks to move west. “But we see that NATO’s promise for mass defense is being tested.”

Germany, now the second major supporter of Ukraine’s weapons and financial weapons in the war with Russia, has pledged to exacerbate these supports under the new Government of Germany, Friedrich Merts, the new German Chancellor.
