Chad suspended visa issuance for US citizens
Chad announced that in response to US President Donald Trump’s decision to ban its citizens’ entry into the United States, the country has suspended visas for US citizens.
“I have ordered the government to act according to the principle of reciprocal action and stop issuing visas for US citizens,” ISNA reported.
President Chad added that his country “has no aircraft to give gifts nor billions of dollars for forgiveness” but instead has dignity and self -esteem.
Trump issued a decree on Wednesday that the citizens of four countries, including Iran, Chad, Afghanistan, the Republic of Congo, Myanmar, the tropical Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen for security reasons.
