Russia: In response to Ukraine attacks, all options are on the table
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister warned today (Wednesday) that Moscow is considering all possible options against Ukraine attacks on Russian territory and that the final decision on reciprocal action has been handed over to the Ministry of Defense.
According to RCO News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said “all options are on the table in response to Ukraine attacks on Russian territory.”
The Russian Defense Ministry will be responsible for the decision to make possible measures in response to the attacks, the Ukrainian senior diplomat added.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has significantly increased its drone attacks on Russian territory. In the latest case, border towns and even host strategic bombers in the depths of Russian territory were targeted by drone attacks.
The attacks, often carried out at night, were designed to undermine Russian logistical and infrastructure capabilities, and Moscow officials have warned that these provocative measures could lead to exacerbation of conflicts.
