Iranian informed source: America’s written proposal is far from a fair basis for compromise
An Iranian source said in an interview that the US’s written proposal on agreement in Oman’s negotiations was “unilateral and unilateral” so that Iran could not consider it a fair basis for a possible reconciliation.
According to RCO News Agency, an Iranian source said the recent US proposal for a new nuclear deal with Iran is unacceptable.
Following five rounds of indirect talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States with Oman’s mediation, Washington announced last Saturday evening to make a nuclear deal to Tehran.
White House spokesman Caroline Lewat said Steve Witekaf, a senior US negotiator, has “submitted his detailed and acceptable proposal to Iran on the nuclear deal and is in Iran’s favor to accept it!”
Earlier, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi announced the visit of Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr al -Busaidi to Tehran and announced that his Omani counterpart had presented US proposed elements to Iran.
Arakchi also presented a report on the latest state of negotiations and letters recently sent to Iran through Oman, saying: “The letter is under preparation.”
Rasha Todi reported that the informed Iranian source during the negotiations told the media: “Iran considers the writings of the United States very far from something that can be considered a fair and realistic basis for a possible compromise.”
He added: “The Iranians were surprised to see such a fantasy text that is so far from reality.”
US officials, especially after the third round of negotiations, claimed that Iran, as the only nuclear country without a nuclear weapon, had no right to enrich the Nuclear Weapons Agreement, and that if it wants to use nuclear energy, it could import the fuel needed by its reactors from a third party.
Although Iranian officials have insisted that Iran’s possession of peaceful nuclear energy and the right to enrich Iran is not negotiating, and they have insisted that Iran will defend its peaceful nuclear program against any aggressive action.
