Authorities warned citizens after the overturning of a truck carrying about 5 million bees in Washington, according to Mehr News Agency.

Following the overturning of the truck near the Canadian border, which transported about 1,800 kg of bee hive, a number of skilled beekeepers rushed to the aid of officials.

The Watccom County Sheriff’s Office announced shortly after the accident that the purpose of the operation was to rescue bees as much as possible.

A statement from the police station pointed out that the scene of the accident will remain quarantine: 1 million bees have fled. Stay away from the area to avoid attacking bees!
