US Senate following new sanctions against Russia next week
Senator Lindsi Graham announced on Friday that the US Senate will approve a bill next week for new sanctions against Russia, including sanctions by countries buying oil and Russian goods.
According to RCO News Agency, The News came after Graham’s talks with Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnski.
According to Reuters, Graham, who visited Kiev, has accused the Russian president of deliberately pushing the peace process.
The US senator also doubts about the second round of direct Russian -Ukraine negotiations in Turkey on Monday, saying that the talks would be merely a “Russian show”.
Ukraine has not confirmed the moment of his participation in the negotiations. The Ukrainian government has announced that it first wants to review the Russian understanding note, which includes Moscow’s proposals for the current crisis.
