Summoning Austria to the Iranian Foreign Ministry
The Austrian official was summoned to the State Department in protest of the misleading report of the Iranian intelligence agency on Iran’s nuclear program.
According to RCO News Agency, following the baseless claim of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program in the annual Assessment of the Austrian Intelligence Agency, Michaela Pacher, the Austrian Embassy’s head in Tehran (in the absence of ambassador) by the West Alireza Mollaghimi, was reported to Alireza Mollaghimi.
At the summons, the head of the West Bureau of Europe, the Foreign Ministry, rejected the allegation in the annual Austrian Intelligence Evaluation Report, to the complete contradiction with numerous reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency, stressing that Iran’s nuclear program was fully in line with the Islamic Republic’s legal obligations.
Alireza Malaghadimi described the Austrian intelligence agency’s action that has undoubtedly questioned the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program as irresponsible and provocative and called for an official explanation of the Austrian government.
The Austrian officer said that he would reflect the Islamic Republic of Iran’s protest and request a formal explanation to his government.
