“We are approaching the vital two ways in the Ukrainian war,” said Turkish Foreign Minister, who traveled to Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, who traveled to the Ukrainian capital Kiif.

“Istanbul’s talks on May 5 were a new start for the diplomatic process of the Ukrainian crisis,” said Hakan Fidan. We want to continue the starting process in Istanbul and are ready to host a new round of talks.

The Turkish Foreign Minister said: “Russia has informed us of its readiness to continue the talks on June 2, and we are consulting with Ukraine.”

Fidan’s remarks came as US special envoy to Ukraine also emphasized that Russia’s concerns about the expansion of NATO’s eastern wings are natural.

The US official noted that he had advised Kiev to refrain from expressing statements that he will not participate in peace talks with Russia.
