Peskov: We expect the second round of talks with Ukraine
A spokesman for the Kremlin said Russia expects Russia to hold a second round of talks with Ukraine and exchange notes.
According to RCO News Agency, there are whispers both from Russia and the United States for negotiations with Ukraine, and before Russia’s announcement, US President Kate Clag had cited a meeting between Russia and Ukraine in Geneva.
“We hope to hold the second round of negotiations by focusing on the exchange of notes and agreements, as well as drafting things that have been agreed,” Sputnik reported Wednesday evening.
A possible place to hold a Russian-Vocaine negotiations
While the US presidential envoy to Ukraine announced the possibility of such talks in Geneva, a Kremlin spokesman said in response to reporters’ question to Istanbul.
“Istanbul is considered as a possible place for the next round of Russian -Ukraine talks,” Peskov said.
The German Chancellor’s position on the lifting of arms restrictions in the Ukrainian war
A spokesman for the Kremlin again responded to German Chancellor Friedrich Merts, who said that “the US, France, Britain and Germany had abolished restrictions on the weapons to Ukraine,” and said: “This prevents efforts in the process.”
“This is a irresponsible position in Germany, and I hope that there will be no serious obstacle to more efforts to solve the peaceful Ukrainian crisis,” he said.
“Such statements exacerbate tension, and this is nothing but more of the war and nothing but more efforts to force the Ukrainians to war in the long run,” Peskov said.
“Russia hopes Mortex’s remarks about long -range weapons will not become a serious obstacle to more efforts to solve the peaceful Ukrainian crisis and that these efforts will continue,” said Dmitry Peskov. “Moscow argues that Germany is competing with France to provoke more conflict.”
Trump’s efforts to end the Ukrainian war
A spokesman for the Kremlin, citing US President Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve the Ukrainian war, said: “The United States, led by Donald Trump, is making significant efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine, and Moscow is grateful to its American colleagues for their participation.”
“Russia continues to be inevitable in its obligations to protect its national interests,” he said.
