Criticism of a group of EU employees on Brussels’ passion for Gaza – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
In a letter to the leaders of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the Majlis, a group of EU staff accused the union of low or effective action on the current humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, the Mehr News Agency quoted the Guardian as saying.
The group said that more than two thousand officials in the European Commission, the European Parliament and EU agencies signed a letter in May (May 1), accusing the union officials of indifferent to the Palestinian situation.
Now, on the first anniversary of the aforementioned letter, the collection re -submitted that the EU had failed to use its political, diplomatic and economic influence to improve Gaza.
Delay in reviewing the EU business agreement and the Zionist regime has raised criticism
Less than a week after the letter was released, EU foreign policy chief Kaya Kalas demanded a review of the regime’s trade agreement at the request of the vast majority of member states.
Although the staff welcomed the move, they considered it late for thousands of dead in the Gaza Strip.
In the same vein, Zino Bent, a writer in the letter, said the announcement would raise serious questions about the EU’s reaction in adequate and timely siege, while thousands of children are hungry because of the re -siege of humanitarian aid.
The collection had previously called for a suspension of a partnership agreement with the Zionist regime, the suspension of European weapons exports to the regime, and tangible efforts to support the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice in Palestinian war crimes investigation.
The group also accused the institutions in which they are working, as well as European leaders hosting the Zionist Prime Minister of “Dual Standard”.
The Group of Alliance for Peace has requested a direct meeting with the offices of the European Commission, Council and Parliament.
The movement continues to its weekly community and protests every Thursday in front of the Council of Europe and its commission in Brussels in support of peace in West Asia and calling for effective action against Gaza rape.
