“Russia should consider the development of military-technical cooperation as an element of the development of army and naval technology,” the Russian president said at a meeting of the Military-Foreign Cooperation Commission.

“Russian defense industries are increasing and we understand the reason,” he said. In addition, almost the whole of Russian weapons, from identification and destruction equipment to air defense, aviation, drone technologies and armored vehicles, proves its performance and under hard tests not only in educational lands or exercises, but most importantly on the ground, in the forefront.
“Another key point is that in order to promote our weapons exports in a high competitive environment, we need to improve cooperation with foreign partners by taking into account the features of the weapons market, meaning not only special weapons and equipment, but also a broader range of services,” Vladimir Putin said.
In the end, the Russian president emphasized that its defense companies generally fulfilled their export commitments in the year 6, adding: “Last year, Russia and our companies generally fulfilled their export obligations, and Russia will remain among the top five leaders of the world market and maintain many export positions.”
