The Turkish president said he did not intend to be nominated for the presidency again, but his country needs a new constitution.
According to RCO News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday, referring to his possible trip to the United States: “I do not intend to be a candidate again for the presidency, but the country needs a new constitution.” I may also travel to the United States. Speaking to reporters on a return flight from Budapest, he said: “Turkey, Syria, Iraq and the United States have a committee to discuss the fate of ISIL forces in imprisoned camps in northeast Syria for years.

“We are very closely pursuing a lot of YPG,” the Turkish president’s office quoted him on Thursday. “It is important for the government of Damascus not to divert his attention from this issue.”
