Sergei Shivigo: Today, security threats have a transboundary and global nature
The 13th International Summit of High Senate officials in charge of the security affairs headed by Sergei Shoigu, secretary of the Russian Federation’s Security Council, will be held in Moscow on May 5-8.
According to RCO News Agency, according to the Russian Embassy in Tehran, invitations to the conference have been submitted to more than 5 countries from the southern and eastern world countries, the member states of the Commonwealth Independent States, the Organization of the Eurasia Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as to the authorities of more than 5 international organizations.
The main agenda of the conference is devoted to issues of international security cooperation, in particular, examining a new model of equal and inseparable security that is fair and appropriate to the current realities of the world.
“The fundamental changes in international relations and the global economy have created both challenges and opportunities for the southern and eastern world countries,” said Sergei Shivigo, secretary of the Russian Security Council. Today, security threats are transcendental and global, and no country alone or even through bilateral cooperation is able to confront them.
