Cancellation of London Free Trade talks with Tel Aviv; The Zionist regime’s ambassador was summoned
In response to the growing violence of settlers and the continuation of the Zionist regime’s military operations in Gaza, the British government halted talks on a free trade agreement with the Zionist regime and summoned the regime’s ambassador to explain.
According to RCO News Agency, the British government imposed sanctions on individuals, illegal settlements and organizations that support violence against Palestinian societies in the West Bank. The British Foreign Minister also suspended talks on the free trade agreement with the Zionist regime.
According to a statement published on the British Government website, new sanctions include three individuals, two illegal settlements and four organizations that have been involved in violence against Palestinian societies in the West Bank.
The statement also said that British Deputy Foreign Minister Hamich Falconner called on the Zionist ambassador to London to explain the expansion of military operations in Gaza.
At the meeting, the British government will declare its fierce opposition “with intensification of military operations in Gaza”, stressing that “the blockade of humanitarian aid to the area over the past eleven weeks has been a cruel and unprotected move.”
The sanctions announced today (Tuesday) include financial constraints and travel bans, including well -known figures such as Daniela Weiss, one of the extremist settlers. Earlier, five individuals, institutions and other companies were boycotted for serious violence against Palestinian societies in the West Bank.
According to a statement by the British Foreign Ministry, British Foreign Minister David Lami said in parliament that talks on a free trade agreement with the Zionist regime will be officially suspended. He has also repeated the British stance against the new and widespread operation of the Zionist army in Gaza.
The British government has announced that today’s measures have been taken following a dramatic increase in the violence of settlers in the West Bank; Since the beginning of January, the United Nations has recorded more than 5 attacks on the settlers against the Palestinians.
The British Foreign Minister also said negotiations for a new and promoted free trade agreement with the Zionist regime can no longer be advanced in view of the catastrophic policies of the Netanyahu government in the West Bank and Gaza. However, the current business agreement will remain in force.
These new actions are followed by a joint statement by the British Prime Minister and French and Canadian leaders. In the statement, they strongly opposed the expansion of the Zionist regime’s military operations in Gaza and the continuation of illegal settlements in the West Bank and warned that further steps would be taken if these measures continue.
“I personally saw the consequences of the violence of settlers; The fear of the victims and the immunity of the perpetrators of these violence. “The boycott of Danila Weis and others reflects our determination to respond to extremist settlements against the crimes they commit against Palestinian societies.”
The senior British diplomat also said that the Zionist regime has a duty to interfere with these violent acts and stop them, adding that its passivity against these crimes has endangered both the security of Palestinian societies and the Dodgeth solution.
“We will not abandon a government solution that is the only framework for fair and sustainable peace,” the British Foreign Minister added. “Israel’s behavior should also be stopped, and we explicitly declare that if the Gaza war does not end, we will take more action against Israel.”
David Lami, however, expressed his devotion to the “Israeli people” and emphasized the confrontation with “Iran’s threats”.
