US President Donald Trump reiterated the need to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Guardian.

Asked if he asked Putin to resolve the Ukrainian war, he said, “It is possible.” We have to meet. He and I have to meet. I think we will solve the problem. This may not happen, but we will at least understand. And if we don’t solve the problem, the story will be very interesting!

Trump also called the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan a great success, saying that what happened between India and Pakistan was a great success. If you look at the level of violence and anger between the two sides, you will find that the situation was not good.

Trump had earlier claimed that India and Pakistan had agreed to the ceasefire agreement after a few days of opening fire to tourists in Pahlagam, US mediation and Trump’s threat to halt trade relations.
