Erdogan: Syria’s sanctions are a historic move – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who attended a joint meeting with US President Donald Trump and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Abu Mohammed al -Julani, said Trump’s decision was lifted.
He continued that the US decision to lift sanctions against Syria would be a model for other countries that have imposed sanctions on Damascus.
Erdogan continued that Ankara would continue to support Damascus against terrorist groups, especially ISIL terrorists.
The claim came as Abu Mohammed al -Julani, who renamed Damascus after his reign, was the head of the Nusra Front terrorist group, which was divided by ISIS, and many countries, including the United States, had put him on the list of terrorist groups.
In his remarks, the Turkish president also pointed to the situation in Gaza and insisted that it was time for human tragedy in Gaza.
