Ukraine has signed another agreement with the US in the field of minerals
Ukrainian version of Forbes Magazine reported that Ukraine has signed two other minerals with the US International Development Financial Company.
The agreements have been signed by Ukraine State Agency chief Niko Gachiladze in support of public-private partnerships with the US side, but the terms of these agreements have not been disclosed.
Ukrainian and United States’ agreement on rare minerals, including several elements, one main agreement and two technical agreements, said Mikhailo Podoliak, a Ukrainian President Mikhailo Podoliak earlier this month.
The move came after Ukraine’s mining agreement was approved in recent days as well as the signing of a contract approved by President Walodimir Zelnski. The Ukrainian Parliament also approved the first reading of the funds needed to operate the fund in Ukraine on May 5.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Dennis Shemiral also said on April 7, an agreement on rare minerals to create an investment fund in Ukraine with equal management and participation between the parties.
He also said that the document states that investing in Ukraine’s development over the course of five years, as well as receiving Kiev’s military aid from the United States, which is considered to be Washington’s aid to the fund.
The Minerals Agreement signed on April 7 allows the United States to have special access to projects related to lithium reserves, titanium and other vital Ukrainian minerals. These resources are critical for global supply chains for defense, aerospace and green energy industries.
