Baqa’i: World Press Freedom Day is reminiscent of the courage of Gaza media activists
A State Department spokesman said in a message on World Press Freedom Day, referring to the Zionist regime’s “colonial genocide” campaign, referring to the target of media activists in the Gaza war by the Zionist regime.
According to RCO News Agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei wrote on Saturday in a message on the X -Social Network: World Press Freedom Day is reminiscent of the courage of journalists, photographers and filmmakers who have been threatening to reveal the Palestinian genocide in the past two years.
Baqaei added: “We commemorate four media activists who were the victims of the same genocide campaign they sought to unveil it.”
A State Department spokesman said they were targeted because they knew their duty to record the excessive Palestinian suffering in Gaza and publish the atrocities of the occupation apartheid regime.
“The United States and other supporters, facilitators and justifiers of Israeli atrocities are also the same as these heinous crimes and must be held accountable,” Baqaei said.
