Russia accused Zelnski of disorganizing in peace diplomacy
A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry today – Thursday – again accused Kiev for disrupting the peace process as well as the temporary ceasefire announced on the occasion of Easter.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said Ukraine had disrupted the Easter ceasefire declared by Russia, ISNA reported.
“The Ukrainian armed forces violated the five -day ban on energy infrastructure facilities,” Zakharova told reporters. The Kiev regime violated the ban. “They also violated the four -hour Easter ceasefire declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin.”
According to him, Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelksky disrupted the London summit on Ukraine and once again confirmed Kiev’s intention to destroy the emerging peace process.
Zakharova told reporters: “If we tell the truth, Zelksky disrupted London’s consultations and convinced Bankova’s intention to destroy the emerging peace process at any cost.”
According to Ria Novosti, Maria Zakharova said: “Zelnski’s remarks about Crimea’s not recognizing as Russia’s realm have once again revealed Kiev’s inadequacy. “Such the schizophrenic approach of the Kiev regime once again showed absolute incompetence, irresponsibility and desire to continue the killing until the last Ukrainian regardless of the victims.”
A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry also told reporters that it would be more apparent at every moment that Zleansky did not have the capacity to negotiate to end the war.
According to Reuters, Zleansky said on Tuesday that Crimea’s recognition as part of Russia is a violation of the Ukrainian constitution. Ukraine says he is committed to seeking complete and unconditional ceasefire.
Meanwhile, US President Zelksky and US President Donald Trump again clashed on Wednesday and blamed Ukrainian leader Trump for refusing to recognize Russian claims about the Crimean Peninsula that attached to Ukraine in year 6. In recent days, Trump has said that if Kiev and Moscow fail to reach an agreement soon, he will stop trying to negotiate Ukraine’s settlement.
Zakharova said European countries‘ decisions to continue pumping weapons to Kiev encouraged Zelnski to pursue the war regardless of casualties. Zakharova said their attitude showed that some European countries are afraid of Russia’s victory.
