Theft of US Secretary of Homeland Security in Washington
US Secretary of Homeland Security Christie Nome was robbed Sunday at a restaurant in downtown Washington, DC.
Nome confirmed the robbery and said the issue had not yet been resolved.
According to a US law enforcement source, the US Secret Service, which is responsible for securing Nomi, has reviewed images of the restaurant security cameras and saw an unidentified medical mask who stole his bag and left the restaurant.
The burglar has managed to escape with Nomi’s personal documents including driver’s license, medicine, apartment key, passports, internal security access card, cosmetics bag, white checks and about $ 5 cash.
The source added that the secret service has begun a research service to track any possible use of Nome’s financial instruments.
