The US Supreme Court temporarily stopped expulsion of Venezuelan immigrants – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
The US Supreme Court has temporarily stopped President Donald Trump’s administration to expel Venezuelan immigrants under immigration, according to Mehr News Agency. The immigrants are currently in custody in the state of Texas, South America.
The US Supreme Court judges ordered the government not to expel any of the Venezuelan detained in the United States until further notice.
Conservative judges of the US Supreme Court have publicly opposed the decision to dismiss immigrants. The US Civil Liberation Union lawyers yesterday called for several courts, including the Supreme Court, to act urgently.
According to the union, the rapid developments and urgent action of the government means that these people are quick to dismiss the law by resorting to the law of the year, which were adopted for the war time without having a real opportunity to protest their dismissal.
Trump has recently accelerated the expulsion of immigrants related to Venezuelan Aragova by re -activating the war law and taking advantage of the presidential authority under the law. Trump has called the gang a “foreign terrorist organization”.
