The next Chancellor of Germany agrees to send Taros missiles to Ukraine
The leader of the German Christian Democratic Union Party, who had previously resigned, opposed the Taros long -range missiles to Ukraine, who had previously resigned.
According to RCO News Agency, Friedrich Merts, leader of the Christian Democratic Democratic Union and the German Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) and its subsequent possible chairman, said Berlin is ready to send Tarus long -range missiles to Ukraine.
“Yes, I said exactly what I mean,” said Mortus in an interview with ARD News channel on Sunday, who could send the fire to Ukraine as much as possible and foster the fire with Russia. We (Germany) will not join this war ourselves, but we will provide such weapons for the Ukrainian army. “In other words, the Ukrainian army must act defensively, they are always responding to, but they must have the ability to influence events themselves.”
Merts noted that other European countries had already sent long -range cruise missiles to Kiev.
The German politician, whose right -wing coalition won about 5 % in the early February parliamentary elections as the first chance of being appointed as the new leader of Germany instead of Olaf Schultz, said: “I have always said that I will only agree with our own European company. Europeans have already launched cruise missiles (to Ukraine). The British have done so, and the French and the Americans have done so even more intensely. “Such a process must be coordinated, and if so, Germany must participate.”
The position of Mortas came as the Chancellor Olaf Schultz, who resigned Germany, had repeatedly insisted that he opposed Taros missiles to Ukraine.
“This war must be over and Russia must agree with a widespread ceasefire,” Schultz, who is due to step down early in the month of Sunday.
Schultz accused Russia of continuing the war without pointing out that Western allies Ukraine’s Western allies opposed their hindrance to peace talks and continued support for Kiev’s arms support, saying: “We are witnessing Russia to continue this aggressive war against Ukraine. “This war must end and Russia must eventually agree to the widespread ceasefire.”
Moscow has previously stated that the continuation of weapons supply by Western allies to Ukraine has disrupted the process of resolving the war and direct intervention of NATO in the war.
