US Secretary of Defense Pitt Hegst said Tuesday: Several US Navy ships will go to Panama to increase our security.

“Chinese companies have an important place in Panama and increase the risk of spy,” the US Secretary of Defense continued. The United States will refuse the Panama channel from China’s influence. China does not make the Panama channel and will not make it weapons.

“We will also continue to deepen cooperation with Panama in the long run,” Pete Hegst added.

The US Secretary of Defense entered Central America an hour ago in the middle of tensions over the Panama Canal and the claim made by Donald Trump to recapture the waterway.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Jian had earlier insisted that Beijing supports Panama’s rule over Panama’s waterway.

“Information about China’s complete control over the waterway is completely inaccurate,” the Chinese diplomat added.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that China is controlling this important international waterway.
