The World Health Organization’s director general says that sooner or later another epidemic will take place, and this is not a “theoretical risks” but a “certainty based on epidemic science”.

At the inauguration of the thirteenth meeting of the Interdisciplinary Board on the World Health Organization’s agreement, he said, “The next pandemia will not wait for the situation to calm down.”

According to him, the emergence of this epidemic is certain and it may occur within the next five years or more or even the same “tomorrow”.

“But this will happen and in any case, we must be ready,” the World Health Organization Director General added. We saw what the Kuwaiti -2 epidemic did. Seven million people were officially killed, but our estimation is 5 million! And in addition to the human cost, the epidemic has damaged more than $ 5 trillion to the world economy.
