Zelnsky announced progress on the issue of the establishment of a peaceful delegation in Ukraine
Zelnski said senior French, Ukraine and British military officials have made tangible progress in the process of establishing a peacekeeping delegation after the end of the war.
Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelnski comments came after Tony Radakin and Tiere Bookhard, the British and French Joint Staff Chiefs in Kiev, met with Ukraine’s commander in chief of the Ukrainian Army, ISNA reported.
“There is a tangible progress and details on how to establish a joint security group in Ukraine,” Zelksky said.
According to the Telegraph newspaper, Zelnski also emphasized that joint efforts are focused on ensuring Ukraine’s security and the creation of long -term acceptable guarantees.
“There is a cooperation thinking about having a strong result that helps us to establish durable and continuous peace,” he said.
The meeting of the British, France and Ukraine defense officials in Kiev is expected to take more talks in the coming days when British Defense Secretary John Haley will meet with his European counterparts on Thursday.
Hayley claims that while Russian President Vladimir Putin is skeptical of the ceasefire, European countries will continue their military planning and examine the air, sea and land forces that can support a sustainable peace in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also insisted on making decisive proposals for the Ukrainian people after meeting with NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
